Massa buoyed by new Williams parts
Felipe Massa says successful updates to the FW36 should give Williams confidence about developing the car for the rest of the season. The team was testing a number of new parts during Friday practice, with the majority set to remain on the car for the rest of the weekend. Massa said the fact that the upgrades provide the expected step forward was exciting as it allows Williams to focus on development rather than correlation between wind tunnel and track. “I'm happy that most of the things we have here we're using – apart from the rear wing – so I think that's positive,” Massa said. “We need to keep pushing to bring more pieces and to improve the car.
