Hamilton fastest in Chinese Grand Prix second practice
Lewis Hamilton set the pace in the second practice session of the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, despite a delayed start due to repairs being made to his car after a suspension issue in practice one.
The session got off to a slow start with Pastor Maldonado being the first driver to take to the Shanghai International Circuit. The Venezuelan driver set the first time of practice two but he didn't hold the top spot for long.
First practice pace-setter Fernando Alonso led the timesheets after the opening runs, before drivers then switched to the soft Pirelli tyre compound mid-way through the session.
