Hamilton tops FP2 from Alonso
Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time of FP2 for the Chinese Grand Prix as Fernando Alonso continued to look strong for Ferrari. Hamilton's time of 1:38.315 set on the soft tyre left him just 0.141s clear of Alonso in second place, with the second Mercedes of Nico Rosberg in third, 0.411s off his team-mate. Hamilton had only managed nine laps in FP1 due to a suspension problem, but enjoyed a much more productive afternoon as he completed The two Red Bulls of Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel were fourth and fifth, while Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen – who only completed an installation lap in the first session – were the only other drivers within a second of Hamilton's time.
