I always had faith in Pérez, says Mallya

– Force India team boss Vijay Mallya said he always believed in the talent of Sergio Pérez, after the Mexican's podium finish in Bahrain. Pérez, who began his F1 career at Sauber, made the step up to McLaren for the 2013 campaign, but struggled to live up to lofty expectations. Force India handed him a lifeline this season and, despite tough races in Australia and Malaysia, he rewarded the squad with its first rostrum since the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix at the Sakhir circuit on Sunday evening.
