Gutiérrez given all clear after Maldonado clash

– Esteban Gutiérrez has been given the all clear by doctors after his collision with Pastor Maldonado during the Bahrain Grand Prix. The Sauber driver was flipped into a dramatic roll by his Lotus rival – who had just left the pits – in the closing stages of the night race. Having stepped out of his stricken car unassisted, he was later taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary checks, which he passed. "I was completely surprised that Pastor, who came out of the pits, ran into me," he said. "I was clearly in front of him. I turned into the corner and I was suddenly hit and I rolled over.
