Daniel Ricciardo positive after “awesome” Bahrain Grand Prix

Daniel Ricciardo has expressed great satisfaction after what he has described as an “awesome” 57-lap Bahrain Grand Prix, where the Australian ace managed to finally secure his first points of the season for Red Bull despite incurring a grid penalty carried over from the previous race in Malaysia. The 24-year-old started way down in 13th, and managed to rise up through the order to finish a strong 4th ahead of reigning Champion Sebastian Vettel. During the opening stint of the race Daniel Ricciardo explained that the Bahrain Grand Prix felt rather monotonous in a “follow-the-leader” fashion, before the Red Bull driver made his first pit-stop and then engaged himself in a frenetic...
