Button encouraged by McLaren pace despite retirement

McLaren-Mercedes Jenson Button says he is encouraged by McLaren's pace, despite having to retire from the Bahrain Grand Prix. Button was running in the top five following the safety car period but lost time due to a gear selection issue and ultimately had to retire the MP4-29. But despite leaving the track empty handed, the Brit - who celebrated his 250th Formula 1 race - expressed positive words about McLaren's pace.
