Maldonado penalised for Gutierrez collision
Pastor Maldonado has been penalised for colliding with Esteban Gutierrez during the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Venezuelan driver had just exited the pit lane when the pair made contact at the first corner, sending Gutierrez into a roll and forcing him to retire from the race.
During the race, Maldonado was handed a 10 second stop/go penalty and was given two further penalties afterwards.
He will take a five-place grid penalty for the next race in China, as well as having three points added to his F1 superlicense.
Elsewhere, Jules Bianchi was handed two penalty points to his license after colliding with Adrian Sutil. The Frenchman now has a total of four this season.
