Maldonado penalised for Gutierrez clash

Lotus F1 Team Pastor Maldonado has been penalised for pitching Esteban Gutierrez into a flip during the Bahrain Grand Prix. Maldonado was exiting the pit lane when he hit the Sauber drive at the first corner, sending Gutierrez into a roll. The Mexican was able to walk away from his battered Sauber. Maldonado was given a 10 second stop and go penalty during the race but the stewards also opted to hand the Venezuelan driver a five place grid drop for the Chinese Grand Prix, as well as three penalty points on his super license.
