Rosberg wary of tyre degradation

Mercedes AMG Petronas Bahrain Grand Prix pole sitter Nico Rosberg concedes that Mercedes will still need to be careful of tyre wear during Sunday's race, despite the apparent advantage of the championship leaders. Rosberg edged out team-mate Lewis Hamilton to claim his first pole position of 2014 under the lights in Bahrain. "It's fantastic to be on pole again here in Bahrain," he said. "I really enjoy the track and I won my GP2 Series title here so it has some pretty special memories for me.
