Small fire affects Caterham factory

Caterham F1 Team Seven members of Caterham's Formula 1 team were taken to hospital after a small fire broke out in the pattern machine shop late on Wednesday evening at the team's factory in Leafield. Staff were taken to nearby hospitals after the fire broke out but six have since been released. 'The source of the fire was quickly identified and was put out, but quite a lot of smoke was generated,' read a Caterham statement. 'Seven members of staff who came into contact with the smoke whilst dealing with the incident were advised by an ambulance crew to go to two local hospitals for observation.
