Vandoorne to take part in Bahrain test

– McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne has been given the nod to take part in next week's post-race Bahrain test. The Belgian, 22, who finished runner-up to Kevin Magnussen in last year's Formula Renault 3.5 series, will act as the outfit's reserve driver for most races this season, while he will also contest his maiden GP2 season with ART. The upcoming Bahrain test, running from April 8-9, is the first of four post-race gatherings this season. The remaining three tests will take place directly after the Spanish, British and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.
