Magnussen frustrated after contact with Raikkonen
McLaren-Mercedes
Kevin Magnussen says he is frustrated with himself after colliding with Kimi Raikkonen during the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Magnussen clipped the back of Raikkonen's Ferrari early on in the race, puncturing Raikkonen's tyre and leading to front wing damage on the Dane's McLaren.
Magnussen recovered to ninth place following a stop and go penalty for the contact while he was also slapped with two penalty points on his license.
"I’m sorry for the team that I messed things up going into the second corner, with the incident with Kimi," he said.
