Magnussen apologetic after 'messing things up'
– Kevin Magnussen has apologised to his McLaren team after making contact with Kimi Räikkönen during the Malaysian Grand Prix. Magnussen was closing in on Räikkönen in the battle for sixth place during the initial phase of the race when he clipped the back of the Ferrari on the exit of the first corner. Räikkönen sustained a puncture in the contact while Magnussen's front wing was damaged. The Dane was hit with a stop and go penalty, while two points were also added to his racing license.
