Hulkenberg: 'It feels great to be so competitive'

Nico Hulkenberg says it felt 'great' to be fighting at the front after finishing the Malaysian Grand Prix in fifth place. The German was one of the only drivers to complete a two-stop strategy. He battled with the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso throughout the race, passing him early on but eventually losing out to the Spaniard (who was on much fresher tyres) at the end of the race, after starting from seventh on the grid and said tyre management wasn't a problem. 'Today was a super team effort and I’m very happy with fifth place,' he said. 'We were the only team among the frontrunners to do a two-stop race and we had good pace all afternoon.
