Bottas hit with three-place grid penalty

– The Malaysian Grand Prix stewards have handed Williams driver Valtteri Bottas a three-place grid penalty for tomorrow's race. The Finn was found guilty of impeding Daniel Ricciardo during Saturday afternoon's second qualifying phase, before his Red Bull rival went on to reach the final shootout and secure fifth on the grid. The penalty drops Bottas from 15th to 18th, promoting Lotus duo Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado plus Sauber driver Adrian Sutil.
