Mercedes dominates final practice at Sepang

Nico Rosberg emerged victorious in the battle with team-mate Lewis Hamilton Getty Images Enlarge Mercedes finally showed its hand in the final practice session for the Malaysian Grand Prix, upping the pace considerably to finish the session one-two. The two Mercedes drivers went out on medium tyres with roughly 15 minutes of the session remaining and Nico Rosberg laid down the benchmark with a 1:39.008, over 0.9s faster than he managed on Friday. Lewis Hamilton was 0.232s off his team-mate, losing time to Rosberg in sectors one and three. Kimi Raikkonen maintained his position as best of the rest, but failed to improve on his Friday time.
