Red Bull 'more or less there'

Despite still having a "lot of problems" that need solving, Sebastian Vettel was encouraged by Red Bull's improved pace in Malaysia. Red Bull's campaign did not get off to a good start as the team left Australia without a single World Championship point. While Vettel's race was undone by an engine problem, Daniel Ricciardo was disqualified when his RB10 was found to have exceeded the fuel flow limit. The team, though, did at least show some pace and arrived in Malaysia determined to build on that. Vettel did just that, finishing Friday's running at the Sepang circuit with the third fastest time.
