Lewis Hamilton reigns supreme after fascinating first practice at Malaysia

Lewis Hamilton has ended the opening practice session fastest ahead of this weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix, after a fascinating first 90 minutes of track action around the Sepang International Circuit. The 2008 World Champion was followed by the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen in 2nd, with team-mate Nico Rosberg 3rd. The opening practice session of the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend got underway in hot and humid conditions around the Sepang International Circuit, with two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso electing to become the first driver to take to the track for Ferrari as the track immediately became green.
