Horner: Red Bull improvement no surprise

Despite struggling throughout pre-season, Red Bull were confident of a strong performance at the Australian Grand Prix, Christian Horner claims. With Lotus sitting out the first pre-season test at Jerez, Red Bull finished at the bottom of the time sheets at the Spanish track, before struggling with various issues at the following two tests in Bahrain. Despite the problems with the RB10 car from both a pace and reliability perspective, Daniel Ricciardo qualified on the front row and finished the season-opening race in second place, before being disqualified for contravening fuel flow regulations.
