Red Bull officially appeals Ricciardo's exclusion

– Red Bull has formally appealed to the FIA over Daniel Ricciardo's exclusion from the Australian Grand Prix. The reigning World Champions had until Thursday lunchtime to decide whether to continue with their appeal and paperwork was lodged shortly prior to the deadline. Ricciardo finished the race in second place but was later disqualified after stewards ruled that his RB10 had exceeded the fuel flow rate limit of 100kg/hr across the duration of the race. Red Bull has repeatedly denied that it broke the rules and insists that they used their own sensors after deciding that the FIA's readings were inaccurate.
