Renault investigating Vettel failure

Renault have launched an investigation into the engine issue that caused Sebastian Vettel to retire in Melbourne on Sunday. After a solid Friday, the reigning World Champion's Australian Grand Prix weekend went from bad to worse on Saturday and Sunday. A software issue during qualifying meant he lacked the pace to make it into Q3 while his race on Sunday came to a premature end when he was forced to park his RB10. Red Bull later confirmed that it was an "engine failure" which Renault's head of track operations Remi Taffin says the French engine manufacturer are now looking in to.
