Red Bull to appeal Ricciardo exclusion

Red Bull has announced its intention to appeal Daniel Ricciardo's exclusion from the Australian Grand Prix.Ricciardo had originally secured his first F1 podium by finishing second behind Nico Rosberg in Melbourne before he was excluded from his home race as his car had exceeded the maximum fuel flow.The FIA acknowledged issues Red Bull encountered with its FIA-homologated fuel flow sensor, but said it was the team's duty to ensure the car was legal and added that “it is not within their discretion to run a different fuel flow measurement method without the permission of the FIA” after Red Bull ran using their own fuel flow model.However, Red Bull immediately issued a statement making...
