Hamilton positive despite early retirement

Lewis Hamilton remains positive about Mercedes' chances of success in 2014 despite retiring from the season opener in Australia on the second lap. While his team-mate Nico Rosberg raced to the fourth victory of his career at the Albert Park Circuit in dominant style, Hamilton suffered a misfiring cylinder which caused him to lose engine power. It was a problem that he had from the very start, dropping to third on the first lap and falling behind Magnussen on the following lap.
