Ricciardo under investigation for fuel flow breach

Getty Images Enlarge Daniel Ricciardo second place finish at the Australian Grand Prix is under investigation by the stewards after he exceeded the maximum fuel flow allowed under the regulations. As part of Formula One's new fuel regulations fuel flow to the engine is limited to a maximum rate of 100kg per hour. Each car is fitted with an FIA fuel flow sensor to monitor the rate and Ricciardo's Red Bull was found to have "exceeded consistently the maximum allowed fuel flow". The statement from FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer added: "As this is not in compliance with Article 5.1.4 of the 2014 Formula One Technical Regulations, I am referring this matter to the stewards for...
