Kobayashi pleased to reward Caterham

Caterham F1 Team Kamui Kobayashi says he could 'see just what it meant' to the whole team when he progressed through to Q2 during qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. Formula 1 returnee Kobayashi had minimal running prior to qualifying but set the 15th fastest time and will start one position higher after a penalty for Valtteri Bottas. "That’s a good way to come back, not only for me in my first qualifying session of the year, but also for the whole team after such a difficult day yesterday," he said. "The guys worked very hard until just before the curfew this morning and fixed the car after all the issues we had yesterday – that meant we could do 19 laps in FP3...
