Rivals hit a Rosberg in Free Practice Three

Nico Rosberg showed the field a clean set of heels in Free Practice Three, but not before Jenson Button threw up a surprise by slotting into second before the dying stages of the session. With the skies looking set to open at a moments notice, trepidation was the word of the day with teams having little notion of how the cars would perform with even the smallest amount of precipitation. Esteban Gutierrez was the first casualty, sufferring a gearbox failure on his installation lap and struggled to get back to the pits.
