Gutierrez: 'We are missing a lot of speed'
Esteban Gutierrez says his Ferrari-powered C33 is 'missing a lot of speed' after a difficult day of free practice for the Sauber F1 Team in Australia.
The Mexican driver suffered a gearbox problem in first practice and managed just seven laps, setting the 14th fastest time. A change of gearbox delayed his running in the second session but it was more productive, completing 26 laps and finishing 15th on the timesheets.
He continues to struggle with the brake-by-wire system and says the pace is not where he wants to be. 'Today was not ideal,' he admitted. 'We had a problem with the gearbox in the morning, but we were able to fix it for the afternoon. The team did a good job putting the...
