Lotus appoints Deputy Team Principal

he Lotus Formula 1 team has appointed Federico Gastaldi as its new Deputy Team Principal. Gastaldi, hailing from Argentina, has long-standing ties with the Enstone outfit, and most recently worked as its Director of Business Development. He steps up to his new position at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix. "Federico Gastaldi has been a valued friend of the Genii and Enstone families for quite some time." Gérard Lopez, Co-Chairman and Team Principal of Lotus, said of the squad's latest managerial change. "His Enstone history dates back to the Benetton days.
