Frederico Gastaldi named Lotus Deputy Team Principal

Lotus has announced a new deputy team principal ahead of the Australian Grand Prix after former team principal Eric Boullier left for Mclaren early this year. Frederico Gastaldi has been with Lotus since 2010, with the role of Director of Business development his most recent post. The Argentinian will begin his role immediately. Gerard Lopez, the team's Co-Chairman and team principal, has been at the helm of the Enstone squad since early this year after Boullier left for Mclaren, but was faced with the task of operating both the business and sporting sides of the sport for the team.
