Montezemolo calls on FIA to be vigilant
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has called on the FIA to be vigilant around any “grey areas” in the new regulations.New technical regulations have led to big changes to the 2014 cars, with updated aerodynamic regulations allied to V6 turbo power units introduced with complex energy recovery systems. In an open letter to the Tifosi published on the official Ferrari website, Montezemolo said the FIA would have to keep a close eye on certain areas to prevent teams exploiting potential loopholes.“It will also be a difficult championship for the spectators to follow,” Montezemolo said. “The drivers will have to take care that they do not wear out the tyres and save fuel.
