Pirelli confirms in-season test schedule
Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed its schedule for the eight days of in-season testing.
Each team must devote one of the available days to tyre testing this year. Pirelli and the 11 teams have agreed the schedule, with the approval of the FIA. The tyres used on the nominated tyre test day will not form part of the 135 allocated sets for testing purposes in 2014.
The first in-season test of the year will take place from the 8-9 April at the Bahrain International Circuit, the Tuesday and Wednesday after the Bahrain Grand Prix. All 11 teams will be in attendance, with Caterham completing tyre testing on the first day.
