Pirelli, teams agree on tyre test schedule

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli and the sport's 11 teams have agreed on an in-season tyre test schedule. As per the 2014 regulations, each team must dedicate one of its in-season test days exclusively to tyre development work, a request made by the Italian manufacturer at the end of the 2013 Formula 1 season. Pirelli has also confirmed that for the final two days of this year's test schedule, being held in Abu Dhabi from November 25-26, it will be supplying the teams with test prototype tyres in preparation for the 2015 campaign. 2014 in-season tyre test schedule: Bahrain test (8-9 April) Day 1: Caterham Day 2: Mercedes and Williams Barcelona test (13-14 May) Day 1: Sauber and Toro...
