Marussia targets early flyaway races

Marussia F1 Team Marussia team principal John Booth believes that his squad can benefit from the potential high rate of attrition during the opening races of the 2014 season. Booth's team have yet to score a point in their Formula 1 history but he is confident that the Ferrari-powered MR03 can move them up the grid. "Although we did not meet our mileage target in pre-season testing, the positive work we did achieve, particularly last week in Bahrain, has been extremely valuable in terms of validating our calculations for the MR03 and finalising our specification for Melbourne," said Booth.
