Booth: First races an opportunity

– Marussia Team Principal John Booth says the opening races of the 2014 season present an opportunity for his team to achieve strong results. Marussia has yet to score a point in its Formula 1 history but the vast rule changes mean that Booth's team heads to next weekend's Australian Grand Prix confident about ending its barren spell. "Although we did not meet our mileage target in pre-season testing, the positive work we did achieve, particularly last week in Bahrain, has been extremely valuable in terms of validating our calculations for the MR03 and finalising our specification for Melbourne," said Booth.
