Pirelli names tyre choices for first four races

– Pirelli has announced its tyre compound choices for the first four rounds of the 2014 Formula 1 season. For the races in Australia, Bahrain and China, the Italian manufacturer has chosen to supply its Soft and Medium compounds, while for the second round, taking place in Malaysia, the Medium and Hard compounds will be used. "The information gained over all three tests has helped us to come up with the tyre choices for the start of the season, having run with the new 2014 tyres in all conditions now," explained Pirelli Motorsport Director Paul Hembery.
