McLaren to trial new updates on final two winter test days

McLaren's Kevin Magnussen completed 109 laps at the wheel of the unchanged MP4-29 on the first day of the third pre-season test. The Danish rookie set the sixth fastest time and managed a full race distance on Thursday. McLaren failed to run any new parts on its 2014 challenger on the first day of the final winter test. The Woking-based outfit will fit upgrades to the car for the final two days. Jenson Button will be in the car on Friday, before Magussen returns on Saturday. The Brit will then take to the Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday for his first drive in the updated MP4-29. Without any new parts to trial, the first day of the test was spent focusing on reliability and mileage....
