Bottas cautiously optimistic after solid showing in Bahrain
Williams' Valtteri Bottas is feeling cautiously optimistic after a good day of testing in Bahrain that saw the Finn complete more laps than any other driver and finish in second place on the timesheets.
Bottas' fastest time of 1:36.184 was just under a second shy of pace-setter Sergio Perez's time, but no other driver could match the Williams for mileage as he completed a mammoth 128 laps without a hitch.
'It's been another good day for us,' Bottas said. 'It was nice to get the whole run plan done. We didn't have any issues all day so well done to all the team for getting the car running so well.'
Despite such a strong display, Bottas is sure that there is room for improvement as the team...
