Button would 'love' a London GP

Jenson Button says he's still behind a grand prix on the streets of London despite the hype around it haven quietened in recent months. A year there was major talk of London hosting a grand prix with British GP sponsor Santander putting together a CGI event displaying the course. The 14-corner race would run past great British landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Trafalgar Square. However, since then talk of a London GP has gone quiet although the potential for it was opened up on Thursday when the government announced they would hold a consultation on closed-road motor sport events on mainland Britain.
