Smedley to join Massa at Williams

Sutton Images Enlarge Felipe Massa's old Ferrari race engineer Rob Smedley is set to follow the Brazilian to Williams in a newly formed role as head of vehicle performance. Massa and Smedley worked together between 2006 and 2013 at Ferrari, forming a close and successful partnership over that time. Smedley will join the team ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix and will be supported in his position by Andrew Murdoch, who is race engineer to Felipe Massa, and Jonathan Eddolls, who remains as Valtteri Bottas' race engineer in 2014.
