Kvyat pleased after productive day in Bahrain

Toro Rosso's 2014 rookie Daniil Kvyat is pleased with the progress being made by the team after a productive day of running at the Bahrain International Circuit. The Russian driver only managed to complete five laps at the wheel of the STR9 on Wednesday due to a mechanical problem, adding to his tally of nine laps from the opening pre-season test in Jerez. However, his fourth day in the car was far more productive and he completed 57 laps. 'This was the first time I have managed to do a lot of running and it was very important for me, as well as for the team, that I completed 57 laps,' he said.
