Magnussen sails to the top on second test day

McLaren's Kevin Magnussen impressed to go quickest on Thursday in Bahrain during the second day of the second pre-season test. The Danish driver was over 1.5 seconds quicker than anybody else as he sailed to the top of times ahead of Nico Hulkenberg. Fernando Alonso was third fastest with Nico Rosberg fourth. Valtteri Bottas made up for lost time by posting a massive 116 laps, eventually putting in a 1:37.328 to secure fifth ahead of Caterham's Kamui Kobayashi. Sebastian Vettel enjoyed his best test day yet, circulating the Bahrain circuit 59 times, once more than sister team Toro Rosso for what Renault will hail a relief.
