Lotus confirm extended Renault partnership
Lotus has officially confirmed an extension to their partnership with French engine manufacturer Renault, as preparations for the new Formula 1 season continue to gather momentum around the Bahrain International Circuit. After missing the first test at Jerez earlier in the year, Lotus finally unveiled their new E22 challenger at the start of the second winter test in Bahrain.
With the Enstone-based outfit loosing several key members throughout the winter period including 2007 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen and team principal Eric Boullier, the new season could potentially begin as an uphill battle for Lotus as Romain Grosjean is joined by former race winner and Williams driver Pastor...
