Lotus officially confirms Renault partnership

– Lotus has announced an extension to its engine partnership with Renault for the 2014 Formula 1 season. Although the Enstone-based outfit had prepared its new E22 chassis around the French manufacturer's turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 power unit, there had been no official confirmation of a new agreement. "We are pleased to see our partnership officially confirmed as the E22 takes to the track for its first official test," commented Jean-Michel Jalinier, President of Renault Sport F1.
