Lotus E22 officially out to the public eye
February 19th, 2014 (F1plus/J. Leslie).- Finally, this season's F1 grid is now complete after Lotus became the 11th and final team to debut its 2014 challenger. The team opted to skip the opening four-day test at the Jerez circuit, deciding instead to complete more development and preparation work on the new E22 at its Enstone factory. However, the Renault-powered machine did take to the 2.75-mile Spanish track two weeks ago as part of a promotional filming day. Pastor Maldonado had the honours of giving the car its on-track debut. The team suffered a slow start, completing just one lap on Friday, but the following day was far more productive, with the E22 managing to reach the 100...
