New Lotus E22 makes public debut

Lotus has become the eleventh and final team to reveal its 2014 challenger as the E22 made its public debut on the first day of the second winter test in Bahrain. The team had originally shared rendered images of the car in late January and opted to skip the opening pre-season test in Jerez to complete more development work on the E22 at its Enstone factory. Romain Grosjean pulled out of the Lotus pit garage at the Bahrain International Circuit to publicly present the team's latest machine. The Frenchman will drive the E22 for the first two days of the second test, before handing driving duties over to his new team-mate Pastor Maldonado for Friday and Saturday.
