Boullier already at work with McLaren in Bahrain 19 February, 2014 Eric Boullier in Bahrain McLaren's newly appointed Racing Director Eric Boullier, who was only expected to take up his new post on 3 February, is already with his new team in Bahrain. Spotted in the McLaren pit garage, kitted out in team gear, Boullier was taking a keen interest in the workings and procedures of his new work place. In the aftermath of Ron Dennis' coup at McLaren, Boullier was lured away from Lotus to take up the new position at Woking, which has been seen as an indirect replacement of McLaren's former team principal Martin Whitmarsh.
