Williams announces Petrobras partnership

– Williams has signed a new multi-year partnership with Brazilian multi-national energy company Petrobras. Williams and Petrobras' new agreement brings to an end a five-season break, with the Grove-based outfit previously using the brand's motorsport fuel product between the 1998 and 2008 Formula 1 campaigns. With turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 power units arriving on the scene, Petrobras will spend the remainder of 2014 developing a new specialist fuel, which will be used by the Williams team from the 2015 season onwards. In return, the Petrobras logo will be placed on the side of Williams' FW36 chassis and on team clothing. "Petrobras and Williams have had a successful partnership...
