F1 2014 – Newey: Jerez problem down to Red Bull

Adrian Newey has revealed that despite the issues Red Bull faced from the Renault engines, part of the problem was also down to the RB10 being packaged to tightly causing bodywork to catch fire.Newey revealed “What stopped us at Jerez was a problem where the bodywork local to the exhaust was catching fire.” “Hands up on our side because that was a Red Bull problem.”“It was, you could argue, a result of aggressive packaging.
