Six reasons why Ferrari could be a 2014 title contender

Mercedes may have racked up bountiful mileage at the opening pre-season test at Jerez last month suggesting that the German manufacturer is far ahead of its rivals but Ferrari may emerge as its biggest challenger this season. Teams have been troubled with the introduction of new regulations this year with the Renault-powered Red Bull bearing most of the issues. In contrast, Mercedes has coped with the new formula the best so far clocking up nearly six times the distance the world champions covered in Spain.
